Use these examples to study structure, specificity, tone, and variation. They are demonstrations—not claims about a real person or organization unless the example itself makes that explicit.

What to notice in the examples
A strong manuscript submission begins with fit and current official guidelines, treats each requested item as a separate deliverable, follows channel and file rules exactly, preserves a record of what version was sent, respects simultaneous-submission and follow-up policies, and never assumes that one generic package fits every recipient.
- Target and fit: recipient, category/genre, eligibility, current open/closed status, and why the project belongs there.
- Guideline snapshot: official source, date checked, submission channel, requested materials, length/sample rules, file types, and any special questions.
- Package map: manuscript/sample, query or cover letter, synopsis, proposal, bio, comps, content notes, or other items only when requested.
- File and form preparation: correct manuscript format, filenames, clean version, pasted-text requirements, attachments, and required form fields.
- Submission record: date, exact manuscript/package version, recipient, materials sent, status, response policy, and follow-up/withdrawal rules.
- Post-send control: monitor requested updates, offers, exclusives, withdrawals, simultaneous submissions, and material manuscript changes without spamming the recipient.

Keep the underlying decision or pattern, then replace the subject, evidence, relationship, constraints, and tone with details that belong to your situation. If your final line still works after swapping only one noun, it may be too close to the example.
