How to personalize a template

Strong Story Conflict has a clear central incompatibility, credible opposing forces, causal escalation and changing tactics. Internal and external pressures interact rather than appearing as disconnected obstacle lists, and major turns alter what each side can do so the climax resolves or transforms the conflict the story has actually built.

  2. 2
Replace every bracketed field with specific information.

  4. 4
Read the result aloud for unnatural transitions or repeated phrasing.
